Grilled Chicken, Mushroom, & Swiss Cheese Sandwiches
1 lb Thumann's Chicken Breast or Thumann's Golden
Roasted Turkey Breast
1/2 lb. Thumann's Swiss cheese
2 cups White Mushrooms, cleaned and thinly sliced
6 Slices of Italian bread or focaccia bread
2 tbsp of olive oil
3 tbsp of butter
salt and pepper to taste
In a large frying, heat the olive oil and sauté the
mushrooms over medium heat until tender. The mushrooms
will soak up the oil, shrink, and then will make juice.
Let the liquid evaporate, stirring occasionally for
about 10 minutes. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Set
the mushrooms aside.
Butter on side of each slice of bread. With the butter
on the outside, place the Thumann's Chicken Breast or
Thumann's Golden Roasted Turkey on the bread About 4 oz.
per sandwich. Then spread sautéed mushrooms evenly over
the meat. Place Thumann's Swiss cheese on top of the
mushrooms and grill in a large frying pan until golden
brown. Eat and Enjoy!
