Roast Beef & Mushroom Dinner with Gravy
1/3 lb. Thumann's Capless Roast Beef, sliced
1/2 small onion, chopped
4 medium mushrooms, sliced thin
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 cup low sodium beef broth
1/4 cup red wine
2 tbsp. flour
freshly ground pepper - to taste
2 tbsp. low fat milk
Sauté butter, onions, and mushrooms together until soft
and onions are clear. Then add beef broth and simmer 3
minutes. Next, add the wine and simmer for 3 minutes.
Mix in the flour, sifted, to thicken the gravy. Then add
Thumann's Roast Beef and submerge it in the gravy. Let
it simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the milk last and stir it in the gravy mixture for 1
minute. Serve Thumann's Roast Beef dinner with mash
potatoes or over egg noodles.
